Classical foundations, with room to explore

Noteable Music Studio offers piano lessons for children and adults, from complete beginners through to approximately Grade 6.

Lessons are based around a strong classical foundation — developing good technique, musical understanding and confidence at the piano. From that foundation, students can also explore modern music, blues, improvisation and their own musical ideas.

About the teacher

I hold the ATCL piano diploma and have extensive teaching experience, including teaching in schools through the Music Education Centre on Auckland's North Shore.

My approach is practical and individual. Rather than simply working through a book, I look for the things that are holding a student back and find ways to help them understand and overcome them.
